"Heavy in a very different but no less effective way is yet another hometown trio, Planetstruck, which has just issued a pummeling, pounding and thoroughly punishing five-song EP that finds a middle ground between the doom/stoner-rock subgenre and the artier noise-rock experiments of the Melvins.
