Carlile is backed by guitarist Tim Hanseroth and his twin brother Phil, they're not just band mates but they also pool resources and co-write several songs giving the album a refined, liquid musicality that makes it such a worthwhile, addictive listen.

Her song "What Can I Say" was showcased in the America's award winning and popular prime television drama Grey's Anatomy in Episode 2 of Season 2, "Enough Is Enough." Another of Carlile's popular track "Tragedy" was featured on Grey's Anatomy May 5th, 2006. This has given her tremendous recognition in America.
