Christina Aguilera is one of the most sensational female pop singer of the late-90's. She stands second after Britney Spears in the pop music industry. Aguilera's talent can be seen in her powerful voice combined with some of her up-tempo dance numbers and ballads. Born as Christina Maria Aguilera on December 18, 1980, on Staten Island, her family background was of Irish and Ecuadorian stock. The lead single "Genie in a Bottle" climbed the top music charts and retained its position for five continuous weeks. With all this, the Christina also won a Grammy Award for the best new artist. Other hit songs include "I Turn to You," and "Come on Over Baby" ( All I Want is You".

In September 2000, Aguilera released a Spanish-language album "Mi Reflejo," for which she learned the lyrics as she couldn't speak Spanish, followed by the holiday album "My Kind of Christmas". Both of these albums were a huge hit, making aguilera as one of the most popular artist throughout the world. She appeared on the Moulin Rough soundtrack along with Pink, Mya, and Lil' Kim in 2001, which was a successful blockbuster. With her growing popularity and endless fame, Aguilera was by now one of the renowned celebrity in the industry.

Her second studio album was released in the fall of 2002 followed by "Stripped" which was released in October under RCA label.
