Every year country music faithfuls take the trip to Florence Arizona to catch one of the biggest country music festivals in the world- now it's your chance to join them with tickets to see Country Thunder, a rollicking festival of down-home country music and events spread out over four days with over fifty acts and sixty hours of country entertainment!
Country Thunder has been going for almost thirteen sessions every year in Arizona, with a sister event in Wisconsin. Usually held in April, country music fans from across the country and around the world brave the sweltering heat to catch some of their favorite country music acts perform live on stage. The festival boasts of some true country legends like Willie Nelson as well as up coming young stars like the Rascal Flatts. This mixture of old and new, established and upcoming gives the audiences a wonderful variety of country music at its very best.
Of course music isn't the only thing there- you will also see a wide array of vendors selling everything from cowboy hats to bandanas to Spamburgers. There are even mechanical bulls to put you in that rodeo feeling and a few events like rock climbing to test your skills. But in the end, it's all about the music. 2001 was a year of unforgettable performances from established greats like Alan Jackson, The Oak Ridge Boys, Charlie Daniels and the un-stoppable Wynona Judd. Perhaps the one thing that marred that year was the inexplicable presence of bands like Styx and CCR but on the whole it was an enjoyable festival.
2003 was another memorable year when the Rascal Flatts, Willie Nelson, Martina McBride, Montgomery Gentry, Brooks and Dunn and Trick Pony all turned out fabulous performances. While Montgomery Gentry and Brooks and Dunn did what they did best in traditional country fashion, acts like Trick Pony and Rascal Flatts fused pop, country and rock into an irresistible sound. McBride and Nelson were, as always, a class apart.
Country Thunder blew fans away in 2006 in typical style with acts like Carrie Underwood of American Idol fame and LeeAnn Rimes, who had to pull out of a previous Country Thunder concert. Others that took the stage were Randy Travis, Miranda Lambert, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Trick Pony, Muzik Mafia, Big & Rich with Cowboy Troy, Neal McCoy, Larry the Cable Guy, Melody Dunn, Cowboy Crush, Hot Apple Pie and Travis Tritt.
No doubt that the next installment of Country Thunder will be blowing away fans with its unstoppable musical line up so make sure you don't miss it! Contact your online ticket vendor today and find out how you can book your tickets to catch some Country thunder.
