Craig David burst onto the R&B music scene, when barely out of his teens and captured the minds of music enthusiasts. His bran of music took hold of the U.K pop circuit, twisting it around and kicking it back during the fall 2000. It would have surprised many people but the fact was that this singer was merely bringing forth his love for crooning urban stylings and funkadelic hip-hop. This love story started way back when he bagar writing songs as a teenager. At a young age he was fascinated by the likes of Sisquo, Donnell Jones, and Terence Trent D'Arby, and this fuelled his creative instincts for culture, art, history, which blended in with his won musical sound. Unarguably, his music change the way the music world looked at R&B music and he literally redefined the concept of garage music. The dynamic singer is now on tour and you will be really missing something significant if you don't buy the tickets to his show.

Craig Ashley David was born on May 5, 1981 in Southampton England. He started his musical career dicing and slicing R&B and raga at the neighbourhood station PCRS 106.5FM and soon found himself performing at local clubs. This was the best training ground which later enabled him to rub shoulders with some of music's finest artists. Craig David hit big time when he added his won sounds on Damge's "I'm Ready," a B-side to "Wonderful Tonight". His remix of Human League's "Human" saw him garnering the much needed popular push and he earned a regular spot in the neighbourhood clubs during the weekends. David's musical genius was further shaped by the show on Capital Radio where he performed alongside Mark Hill. When David was 19, his single "Fill Me In" shot straight into the number on in 2000; making him the youngest British male solo artist to debut at number one.

In the UK he signed a deal with Wildstar Records and his "7 Days" and "Re-Rewind" gained fantastic praise, it was followed by Atlantic Records signing him up for a stateside agreement which led to Craig David becoming a global phenomenon. He has the enviable records of selling 3.5 million records world wide and is instrumental in making garage such a massive hit overseas with his debut album Born to Do It. Surprisingly, such a gifted singer was sidelined at many of the awards shows winning just three awards at the MOBO's in October. Artist like Robbie Williams, U2, and Elton John took up the cudgels on his behalf and deplore the ill recognition for David and his musical efforts. But that did not deter his fans from buying his music. The sales of his records kept on soaring new heights, with Born to Do it increasing over 100 percent in the UK after its dismal start. He invaded the American Shores with the same album on Atlantic in 2001 and was an instant hit on mainstream radio.

In November 2002, the singer released his sophomore effort Slicker Than Your Average, wherein he added a lot of glitter to his sound, moreover his debut single "What's Your Flava?" also managed to top the popularity charts. His fans now have an opportunity of a life time to catch him live in action. So go now and book you ticket courtesy your online ticket vendor.
