D 12 commonly known as The Dirty Dozen are 6 emcees from Detroit, Michigan. They comprise Eminem, Proof, Bizarre, Swift, Kuniva and the Kon Artis. Together Eminem and Kon Artis are producers, Eminem raps and Kon Artis produces.With two multi platinum albums ('The Slim Shady LP' and 'The Marshall mathers LP') Eminem had already established himself as a hip-hop star. Bizarre before having signed to Shady Records had an EP released on Federation Records called 'Attack Of The Weirdos'.

Bizarre and Eminem together are even part of the New Jersey's 'The Outsidaz'. The Dirty Dozen possess an EP which is called by everyone as 'The Underground EP' and it comprises 10 tracks. They signed with 'Re-Al Entertainment' but broke the contract to be associated with Eminem's records label 'Shady Records'. Re-Al apparently has the unreleased D12 tracks that are locked up in their vaults. It is planning to release them some time in the near future from the D12 record on 'Shady Records'.

D12 debut album" Devil's Night" features 18 tracks, amongst which 4 have been produced by Dr Dre.It comprised of the potential to cause waves with the raucous single, "Shit on You".They claim that they are "here to bring the sick, the obscene, the disgusting." With this agenda D12 proved the sequel to the controversial parade started by Eminem with the explicit lyrics on his solo albums "Slim Shady" and the in-your-face single "Way I Am".

Three years later they turned up with "D12 World" that included guest appearances from Obie Trice and B Real. All the members come complete with aliases. They bear the tattoo of the name of former D12 member, Bugz. He was shot dead at a picnic party.
