Damon Wayans has experienced success as a producer and writer as well as an actor. Wayans began honing his comic skills during childhood. Over the years, his unique comic style has brought him success on stage, television, and film.

Through My Wife and Kids Damon Wayans became a household name throughout the US. For three seasons, he co-starred and wrote for the Emmy® Award-winning series, In Living Color.He was the creator and executive producer of 413 Hope Street, an hour-long drama that was nominated for a People's Choice Award.Wayans has starred in a number of films, including Bamboozled, Major Payne, Blankman, Bulletproof and Mo' Money, which he also wrote and executive produced. He released Bootleg in the year 1999, a humorous compilation of his observations regarding family, children, marriage, and politics. The book was a tremendous success and quickly reached the New York Times Bestseller List. Damon Wayans resides in Los Angeles.

Wayans didn't limit his talent to comedy in his career. He made his film debut in "Beverly Hills Cop" (1984) and has appeared in "Hollywood Shuffle" (1987) and his brother's "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka" (1988) as well as "Roxanne" (1987) "Colors" and "Punchline" (both 1988). From 2001 until 2005, Wayans starred in the ABC sitcom My Wife and Kids. Before that, he starred in the films The Last Boy Scout, Major Payne and The Great White Hype.
