Dane Cook, the famous stand-up comic was born on 18, March, 1972 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is quite popular and one of the leading American stand-up comedians and screen actors. When Dane was just a teenager, eventually he discovered his superb comedic talent when his dear father and quite famous former radio personality George Cook, eventually gave him a simple tape recorder and microphone. Dane was hugely inspired by watching and listening to many famous comedians. He was influenced by variety of famous comedians, including Johnny Carson, Bill Cosby, George Carlin and even Red Skelton. Dane started his laughter career as a stand-up comic in 1990. In the beginning he earned a very good reputation around Boston, and ultimately he made it to Los Angeles. Cook, made his first big appearance in a well known motion picture as well accepted "The Waffler" in Mystery Men. In 2005, Cook embarked on a nationwide tour, "Tourgasm," the show proved as a tremendous success and it was stretched across the U.S. After this success, Cook issued his 2nd album "Retaliation;" this album went on to hit the Billboard magazine's Top Albums chart and debuted at #4. The success continued as this album was acclaimed as the most successful comedy album since Steve Martin's hugely popular "A Wild and Crazy Guy" that was released in 1979.
His most talked about appearances include his famous appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, which was premiered on August 28, 1997. The show is also famous for a hilarious act in which Dane actually kissed the butt of Charlize Theron.
