Background:

Glenn Danzig was born on June 23, 1955 as Glenn Anzalone. He was very fond of music and made numerous musical efforts. He worked for many bands like: Talus and Whodat and Boojang. Eventually he formed his own band with Jerry in 1977 and named The Misfits. He worked for this band for six years before quitting it in 1983 to join another group called Samhain. He changed the name of this band from Samhain to Danzig in 1986.

Glenn Danzig's comic book publishing company, known as Verotik publishes dark comics, which are created for an adult audience. Glenn Danzig made a small appearance in the film The Prophecy II as the fallen angel Samyael. Glenn has also lent his voice to the cartoon character on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim TV show called Aqua Teen Hunger Force. This show portrays him as a man planning to buy a house which has blood flowing from its walls and faucets.
