"Dashboard Confessional" is an alternative rock outfit. The band hails from Boca Raton, FL. The band is guided by main singer/songwriter Christopher Carrabba. Christopher made his very first solo effort when he issued his album, "The Swiss Army Romance." He has also played with many other popular rock outfits like Vacant Andies and Further Seems Forever.

With, "Dashboard Confessional," Carrabba could shape his simple acoustics play into a superb one. His hugely anticipated EPs "Drowning" and "Place You Have Come to Fear the Most" were issued in 2001. The band also got a chance to play with Pop kids of the TRL generation. Band's next album," Screaming Infidelities" became a popular modern rock hit and went on to establish the band on the mainstream musical scene.

During summer 2001, "The Vagrant Across America" toured the whole nation. Soon, the band got an opportunity to grab the attention of some popular labels like, "Hot Rod Circuit" and "No Motive." In early 2002, the band issued "Lovelorn So Impossible." Their next EP "TV Unplugged" was issued in 2002. This was followed by "The Swiss Army Romance" in 2003.
