Well known singer/pianist Diana Krall began her musical journey from British Columbia. She took her training from the British Columbia in classical piano. At the young age of four she began to play in her high school jazz band. Her family has been very supportive throughout her musical journey. After completing her high school he joined her father as a stride piano player. Once she said, "I think Dad has every recording Fats Waller ever made," "and I tried to learn them all."

To learn more about music, she attended the famous Berklee College of Music. After completing her training, she moved to Los Angeles. She stayed in Los Angles before moving to Toronto. Then she started playing small gigs. By 1990, Diana was based in New York while performing with a talented trio and singing. In 1993, she issued her debut album, "Stepping Out." Her debut album was issued on Justin Time Records.

Soon after this she signed a record deal with GRP. Under GRP, she issued her second album, "Only Trust Your Heart." Soon, she issued her third album "All for you." In 1997, she issued "Love Scenes" followed by "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" in 1998. In 1999, she released "I Look in Your Eyes." This release went on to hit all the popular music charts and acclaimed as an international best-seller. This album also won her a Grammy in the category of Best Jazz Vocal performance. Incredibly, this album was also nominated as the best album in twenty-five years. With such a distinction her crossover success grew rapidly.

Next year, she performed in the Lilith Fair and her hit numbers cropped up everywhere from films like "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" and episodes of "Sex and the City." After a bit slump period, she issued "The Look of Love" in 2001. This hugely anticipated album went on to hit the Billboard charts and also went quintuple platinum in Canada. With this record she became the very first jazz artist to achieve such honor.

The applauses don't stop here; as she went on to win three Juno Awards in 2002, including Artist of the year, Best Vocal Jazz album and Album of the Year. In 2004, she issued "The Girl in the Other Room."
