Fall out boy a famous rock band was formed in the year of 2000. This Chicago based band was formed when the quartet met each other in suburban Wilmette. The group includes Vocalist/guitarist Patrick Stumph, Peter Wentze on bass, drummer Andrew Hurley, and guitarist Joseph Trohman.

Initially, Hurley worked as a drummer for Racetraitor whose brief output proved to be a sticking point for the hardcore community. Fall Out Boy used all the elements ranging from pop-punk to the demo scene. The band had gained tremendous popularity across the country as well as around the world. Their rhythmic tunes has led their fan popularity to increase tremendously.

However, the band's self-released demo appeared in the year 2001, followed by split LP based on Uprising which also featured Project Rocket. Both of these were a huge success as the band was recognized all over the nation. Further more, the band made a come back in January with the release of their mini-LP "Fall Out Boy's Evening Out With Your Girl" which was also yet another success for the growing popularity for the band.

Later on, the band signed a record deal with Gainesville, FL's Fueled by Ramen. This label was co-owned Less Than Jake's drummer Vinnie Balzano and also received an advance from the Island Records to record their debut album. The label financed band's recording of "Take This to Your Grave" which was recorded at Butch Vig's Smart Studios compound in Madison, WI. Recording was done with Sean O'Keefe at the helm. Yet another album titled "Grave" was released in the year of 2003 which made the Fall Out Boys a famous ban dall around the world. The album was a smashing hit and gained some of the positive comments for its gigs at South by Southwest.
