Formed in London, England in 1992, Feeder is an independent rock band of the country. The band was the output of the comparative efforts of singer/guitarist Grant Nicholas as well as drummer Jon Lee. Before founding Feeder, Lee performed for the Welsh band called Temper Temper.

Feeder later got another band member in Japanese bassist/guitarist Take Hirose. British drummer Mark Richardson also joined the band. Jon Lee, the band's original drummer committed suicide in 2002. However, the band didn't lose its morale and went on producing more and more appealing tracks for their fans. Are you a great Feeder fan? Have you ever watched any of Fedeer's concerts? If not, there is a very good news for you. Feeder is all set to perform on a nationwide tour shortly. We are offering online tickets for Feeder's upcoming concerts really at very cheap rates. In 1995 Feeder released their first EP entitled "Two Colours". Only 1500 copies of the album was released which now has become very valuable for the rock buffs. "Swim", the band's 6-track mini album was released in June 1996. The album became a smash hit and it was later re-released in 2002 with some bonus tracks. In 1997, Feeder released "Polythene", their first full-length effort. "Yesterday Went Too Soon", the band's next venture caught more ears than their earlier works. In 2001, the band's next album "Echo Park" hit the market with great success. Songs like "Seven Days in the Sun" and "Buck Rogers" received extensive radio play. "Buck Rogers" appeared on the soundtrack of the famous film "Behind Enemy Lines" starring Owen Wilson, Gene Hackman, Vladimir Mashkov, Olek Krupa, David Keith etc.

Feeder's next album entitled "Comfort in Sound" was endowed with a melancholic tone. What a coincidence. Just before the release of the album Drummer Lee committed suicide. The news of his death came like a bolt from the blue to the band members. After Lee's tragic death the band performed at the Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth as a tribute to their friend. Their tribute also helped them in warming up for the upcoming Reading/Leeds festivals. On August 23rd, 2006 and August 24th, 2006 the Reading/Leeds shows were aired in Radio 1's Evening Session. However, "Comfort in Sound" was not released in that year. The release date of the album was postponed till 2003. In 2003 when Feeder went on a tour to promote the album almost 55,000 tickets were sold for each date. This led the band to embark on an arena tour at the end of 2003.

"Pushing the Senses", Feeder's latest full release hit the market on 31st January, 2005. The album was released after such a long duration. It was because Feeder concentrated more on touring UK and Europe during that time. The single "Tumble and Fall", not only got critical reviews but also made the top 5 list. " Feeder: The Singles", a latest album was released on May 15th, 2006 which contains many singles from the group's entire music career. Apart from those singles the album included 3 more tracks- "Burn The Bridges", "Lost and Found" and "Save Us".

Feeder has won many awards for their for their music. Some of these award are "Metal Hammer Magazine Album Of The Year" ( in1997 for Polythene), "Kerrang Award- Best British Live Act" ( 2001), "Kerrang Award- Best British Band" (2003), "IMA Award- Best Video" ( in 2003 for Just The Way I'm Feeling), "Pop Factory Album-Best Album" (in 2005 for Pushing the Senses), "Radio 1 Award" (2006) and many more.
