Gabriel Iglesias is from San Ysidro, California and was one of the youngest of six children. For the first five years he lived on the eastside of Chula Vista. Later he with his mother shifted to the city of Long Beach where they started a fresh beginning. When he was in 5th grade, there was a talent show and Iglesias was eager to participate in it, but he was at wit's end. So one night Gabriel's mother took him to the local video store where he rented a comedy tape starring Eddie Murphy. He was so motivated that, when after two weeks he went for an audition for the talent show he clicked and to his surprise he became one of the hit of the show. His silly voices and characters left the audience gasping for breath and his dream of comedian was born. But Iglesias was afraid of stage and so he didn't performed for a long time. But later a friend of his pulled him to the stage (after eleven years) and April 10th of 2005 is the day that Iglesias never forgets. He made his dream of becoming a comedian a reality.

He is best known for making fun of his obesity and his ability for impressions. His opening joke is "The 5 kinds of fat": Big, Healthy, Husky, Fluffy (which he says he is) and "DAAAAAAAMN!". He performs stand-up comedies at night while during the day he spreads positive message of laughter at high schools. In his punch lines, he includes messages about the hazards of alcohol and the importance of voting. He was first put on the map by the Galavision TV show, "Que Locos!". It resulted into a nationwide sold-out performances across the country. This show led to film and television roles as well as loyal fans. In 2000, Gabriel won a Kid's Choice Award for the Nickelodeon TV show "All That." He has made several guest appearances on such television shows as The Tonight Show, My Wife and Kids and in his own half hour special on Comedy Central. One of his most notable role till today is portraying Bill Clinton in Nickelodeon. He has guest-starred on ABC's "My Wife & Kids," Showtime's "Resurrection Boulevard" and was involved in the WB pilot for "Deez Nuts". His stand-up has been featured on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Good Morning America," "Showtime at the Apollo" and BET's "Comic View" to name a few. He has also featured in films like "El Matador" and also " The Surfer King". He then won the Comedy Central & Comcast Cable's Comedy Special of the year in 2003 and in 2004 & 2005 was voted into the Top 25 of Comedy Central's Standup Showdown.

In his debut CD entitled "Picachu...I See You", he talks about hanging out with his buddies. But he says that he does not want his show to be labeled as a Latino Comedian only, because he has audience from all countries and he wants to be modern. His amazing ability to cross over with a clean animated style of comedy has put him in big demand throughout the stand-up comedy circuit. Ask anyone who has seen him in concert and you will probably hear the same thing, "He was so funny!"

So don't wait. He is so hilarious, that you will keep on coming. Book your tickets now!
