Gwen Stefani is better known as a young and energetic performer. She stormed the music world in 1987 as the lead singer for the hugely popular band "No Doubt." She scored the biggest hit of her career in the '90s when she issued a super hit single, "Don't Speak." This single was a blend of ska-punk with mixed music. Actually, this track is one of the huge hits of the No Doubt, which earned them a Grammy Nomination.

Gwen was born and raised in Southern California. In 1987, she received an offer from her friend, singer John Spence and thus formed the band "No Doubt." At the end of same year, Spence committed suicide. So the band disbanded. She continued to play in the gigs. Soon after finishing her college, she went on to revive "No Doubt" with drummer Adrian Young, guitarist Tom Dumont, and bassist Tony Kanal.

In 1992, the band was signed by "Interscope Records" and went on to issue their self-titled debut album. After this the band went through a slump period and couldn't issue any album till 1995. Then they issued, "Tragic Kingdom." Their third album proved very lucky to them and also earned a Grammy nomination and peaked at number one on the Billboard charts.

In 2000, they issued "Return of Saturn" which also proved a huge hit. Her own efforts include "Love Angel Music Baby" in 2004 and "Hollaback Girl" in 2005.
