Jadakiss born as Jason Phillips in New York on 27th May, 1975 has earned lot of success and rave reviews. Jadakiss along with Sheek Louch and Styles P is the member of L.O.X. With J-Hood, Sheek Louch and Styles P he forms the D-Block. Jadakiss was interested in music when he was very young. He used to take part in number of competitions when he was just twelve years old. He became a freestyler. His talent was noticed by many when he and some of his pals got a chance to be part of the Jack the Rapper Competition held in Florida. He met the people of management company Ruff Ryders, Wah and Dee.

In 1994 Jadakiss and his two friends Styles P and Sheek Louch founded Warlox a rap group. Later Bad Boy Entertainment signed them. The company suggested a name change for Warlox to just LOX an abbreviation for
Living Off eXperience. The group was first seen on number ' Set it Off ' in the album of The Main Source' titled ' Fuck What You Think '.
During this period a close bond between The Notorious B.I.G and Jadakiss developed. This proved the reason for him to be the part of B.I.G. In 1997 they released a hugely poplar album ' We'll Always Love Big Poppa '.

In 1988 a platinum album by L.O.X. Was released named 'Money, Power, Respect' with twenty one songs. The tracks on this super hit album were Goin' Be Some Shit, If You Think I'm Jiggy, So Right, Money, Power & Respect , The Set-Up, I Wanna Thank You, All For The Love, The Snitch, Everybody Wanna Rat, The Interview, Yonkers Tale, Mad Rapper (Interlude), Let's Start Rap Over, Can't Stop, Won't Stop, We'll Always Love Big Poppa, The Heist, Bitches From Eastwick, Livin' the Life,Get This $, Not to Be Fucked With. There were number of artist on the album like Lil' Kim, P. Diddy, Carl Thomas, and DMX.
With L.O.X. Jadakiss released another hugely successful album tilted 'We are the Streets' in 2000. This album was also certified platinum.

In 2001 Jadakiss released his first solo album known as 'Kiss tha Game Goodbye'. The first solo effort of the rapper was very much applauded by his fans as the album went on to become a Gold album. Among the great songs on the album were Kiss Is Spittin, Keep Ya Head U, It's Time I See You, Cruisin, On My Way, Fuckin', Jada's Got A Gun, Knock Yourself Out, Nasty Girl.
Three years later in 2004 the album 'Kiss of Death' was released on Ruff Ryders. In the United States of America
the album was released on 22nd June. 'Kiss of Death' became very famous with the rap fans. The album was able to feature on R&B albums charts and in the charts of U.K. On 11th March, 2005 it was given the gold status.
