Madonna, yet another artist who has established her musical career in a such a way that even to this day she is remembered as one of the most renowned pop artist of the industry. Madonna's career as an artist shoot up in the early year of 1984. This was the time when she manipulated both media as well as public through her music, videos, popularity and her sexual identity. Madonna's third hit "Holiday" was written by Jellybean Benitez. In the September of 1983, she released her self-titled debut album which was a huge hit. "Borderline" hit the roads in March of 1984 which was her first Top Ten hit in the course of her career.

By the fall of 1984, Madonna released her second album "Like a Virgin" with producer Niles Rodgers. The album's title track climbed the position of number one in December, and sustaining the position for more than six weeks.
