This is an American music group, specializing in country music. The members of the group consists of second cousins: Jay DeMarcus (at the bass) and Gary Levox ( with the vocals) and their friend Joe Don Rooney ( engaged with the electric guitar).The trio did their debut in 2000, after a pact with Lyric Street Records. This record company is a sister concern of Hollywood Records. This company is owned by The Walt Disney Company.

With their music video in 2003, "I Melt." the group achieved some notice. This was however quite controversial as some fans demanded that the video should band. This video had some nude scenes between model Christina Auria and Rooney. The fans wanted the video to be gone from Great American Country and CMT. Thus the group came out with an edited version and it was played at the daytime on CMT."These Days" was the number one hit in the country Single. This was also among the top slot of the Hot Country Singles , of the Billboard magazine. Also among the Track charts in December 2002. "Bless the Broken Road" was performed by them on American idol. It was sung along with Carrie Underwood in May 2005.

It is very difficult to point out one element that makes their music to sought out. They say "We just really jelled because of our influences; pop, RandB, country, gospel, bluegrass roots," they further say that the always want to be innovative and diverse even if its a small performance. They love to groove and so the fans are sure to listen to lot of harmony and a lot of funkiness.

This remains the most promising group- a perfect New Millennium group, having a pact with the most forward looking label in Nashville. The musical family roots surely made an impact on them. Their parents and siblings were the initial influence for them. All the three members of the band brought together their various influences and together with their creativity formed music to give the country music its deserving reputation. Their music have the ingredients of the 20th century country music as well as the freshness of the 21st Century country music.As they say thats its so encouraging to see country music taking its progressive diverse form.
