Roger Waters is one of the popular artist of the music industry. He is one of the main hands who helped in establishing Pink Floyd from the years 1965 to 1983. In the initial days of his career, Roger came across Syd Barrett who became band's vocalist/guitarist. It was during his school days when the duo attended a Saturday art class. For further studies, he shifted to London to join an architechtural course at the Regent Street Polytechnique, where he formed his independent band with Nick Mason on drums, and keyboardist Rick Wright.

Although, Barrett wrote most of the songs, Waters also contributed as co-writer to produce three songs for their LP "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn" which was released in the year of 1967, in September. The album also comprised of a solo single "Take Up Thy Stethoscope and Walk" which became quite popular amongst the crowd. However, after the release of their LP, band member Barett left the group and was replaced by David Gilmour. It was during this time that they came up with yet another album titled "A Saucerful of Secrets" which appeared in the year 1968.

To add more to their success, was October 1970s release "Atom Heart Mother," followed by a soundtrack for "The Body" which was released in December, 1970. On July 21, 1990 came up with a album "The Wall-Live In Berlin Wall" that comprised of several stars. From this time onwards, there was no looking back in the past. Roger Waters, in the year of 1992, released his third independent album "Amused To Death" which rocked the world. The talented artist also gave many onstage appearances, one of which was at the benefit concert which was happened in the year 1993.
