Background:

This rock n' roll band band was formed in 1983. They had their formation in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The original duo of the band comprised of Sam Llanas (vocals & guitar) and Kurt Neumann (vocals & guitar) and the band called themselves Da BoDeans.
They teamed up with Guy Hoffman (drums) and Bob Griffin (bass), in 1984. In the following year, they signed with Slash/Warner Records and they changed there name to BoDeans. In October, they entered Hollywoods' Sunset Sound Factory to record their first album.

This was under producer T-Bone Burnett. In the year 1986, Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams was released. They were the Best New American Band, by the Rolling Stone Magazine reader poll. This was in the year 1987. They have rotated through various musicians Kenny Aronoff, Rafael Gayol, Nick Kitsos, Michael Ramos and Susan Julian to name a few

The Best Of BoDeans-Slash and Burn came out in 2001. Their most recent Cd 2005 is Homebrewed: Live from the Pabst.

Los Lobos is an American rock band. There influence remains Tex-Mex, country music, rock n roll, folk, R&B, blues, also the traditional Spanish and Mexican music. Boleros and norteños are few examples.

How Will the Wolf Survive?was there first critically acclaimed album that was released in 1984, under T-Bone Burnett. By the Light of the Moon came out in the following years and this was also the timer when they also recorded soundtrack to the film La Bamba. It had a title included which was their number one single.

In 1998, came out La Pistola y el Corazón. It had original and classical norteño songs. The album did not get any appreciation.

During the 1980's and the 1990's, the band toured heavily throughout the globe. The opened act for the artists like Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead.

The band contributed a lively cover of Bertha in 1991. This was the song that they performed lived many times to the Grateful Dead tribute/rain forest benefit album Deadicated.

The band came out with two CD collection of singles, live recordings, out-takes as well as hits entitled Just Another Band From East L.A. This was done in their 20th Anniversary.

The band also scored the film Desperado and contributed to several other tracks and albums. In 1996, they released Colossal Head. Though the album was critically acclaimed, Warner Brothers dropped the band. The next few years they spent on side projects.

In 1999, Los Lobos signed to Hollywood Records. Hollywood also reissued 1977's Del Este de Los Angeles.

In 2004, they released their first full-length live-show DVD Live at The Fillmore.

Lobos in Mexico are also people of mixed African and Amerindian racial descent. While the Spanish name Los Lobos means The Wolves.

Together their performance will be entertaining and gripping. Their concert are a huge sell out and promises real good music that will remain close to your soul for a long time.
