The Sounds, a band with attitude is considered to be one of the most talked about bands of its time. The band has their origins in the small southern Swedish city of Helsingborg who consider themselves as the greatest bands in the world. Their confidence has helped them reach the ladder of stardom. In 2002, the band released their debut album "Living In America" which grabbed the number four position on the musical charts. The Album was ranked as one of the best new comers on Swedish album charts.

Their debut was released at the time the members were in the high school. For the album they even received several awards at the Swedish Grammy Awards. After this release the band went on several Warped out tours and accompanied many bands such as Foo Fighters and the Strokes. They grabbed attention of media, who showcased the band on every late TV-show and also featured them in almost every national US publication. Other magazines raised the band's popularity were the New York Times Sunday Magazine.

The Sounds picked up a star-studded fan base, that included Dave Grohl, Pharrell Williams, Quentin Tarantino, Bam Margera, and even Britney Spears among several publicly cosigning for the band.

Further more, the band's second LP "Dying To Say This To You"gave a lasting effect on the audience. It had all the elements of punk attitude and pop savvy. The album appeared on the Scratchie Records which also included co-owners James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins, A Perfect Circle) and Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne, Ivy) and mixer Paul Q. Kolderie (Radiohead, Pixies, Hole).

Each of their songs presents a diversified and deeper version of the sound the group-which also featured Felix Rodriguez on guitar, Johan Bengtsson as a bassist, and drummer Fredrik Nilsson who established on their debut.
