The quartet of the rock and roll band The Who comprised Vocalist Roger Daltery, drummer Keith Moon, Pete Townshend on guitar, and bassist John Entwistle. With their sensational rocking music the band has developed a tremendous fan base all over the world. Although, none of them were similar in attitude, their musical co-ordination was recommendable.
They were considered as one of the powerful bands that emerged during the British Invasion and the mod movement which happened in the mid-'60s. It is said that the quartet used to play conventional rock mixed with R&B structures.
Up till now they have performed at innumerable number of shows worldwide, while increasing their fan base. The band showcased a kind of music which no other rock band was able to play. The reverberating music which they produced has give them the title of the king of the rock music industry. However, Townshend, one of the band member got indulged into song writing and produced some of the marvelous songs such as "The Kids Are Alright" and "My Generation" to name just a few.
