Background:

Rap duo Twiztid is a Protegos of the Insane Clown Posse, from the Detroit. The duo based their performances on dramatical, outrageous makeup-heavy image and an obsession with serial-killer horror films.

The band released their debut album in 1998, which was titled Mostasteless, in which Jamie Madrox and the Monoxide Child cast themselves as psychotic axe murderers. The duo re-released the album with new artwork and extra tracks some years later in the wake of ICP's rise to national notoriety. In 2002 Twiztid released their second album which was titled Freek Show, and was released during the time of Halloween in conjunction with ICP's Bizzar/Bizaar sets. In 2004 the duo released another album titled, Mirror Mirror.

The duo toured extensively throughout the States in the early 2000s, developing a small cult following throughout the Midwest in particular.
