Background:

It is the premiere U.S. video game music concert tour. It will showcase some of the best music concerts, theatrical stage shows, and interactive video games. This Video Games Live concert tour will include the best music and video clips from the most famous games from the beginning of video gaming history till the recently produced ones.. The main games that would be included in this concert tour are:Mario, Zelda, Halo, Metal Gear Solid, Warcraft, Myst, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Medal of Honor, Sonic, Tron, Tomb Raider, Advent Rising, Headhunter, Beyond Good & Evil, Splinter Cell®, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, EverQuest II and a special retro Classic Arcade Medley featuring over 20 and more games from Pong to Donkey Kong which will include classics like Dragon's Lair, Tetris, Frogger, Gauntlet, Space Invaders and Outrun.

This show will be one of its kind of a show which will include performances of the music, video and technically designed laser and light sequences. It will be a platform showcasing over 50 different games in a huge variety of styles. A special segment on retro arcade classics has also been included.
A retrospective segment from the beginning of the video game era up to the present have been included in this event. Numerous segments with game footage will be showed on three giant video screens and hand held cameras will capture the orchestras and the characters in full close-ups. An interactive segment has also been included wherein a few selected audience members would get a chance to actually play a game live on stage as the orchestra will play the music.
The concert tour includes:

Music
The audience will get a chance to hear their favorite video game music which would be played live for the first time ever right in front of them by a full orchestra and choir.

Video
The audience will get an opportunity to see exclusive coverage of their favorite games which would be set to music on 3 giant interactive video screens.

Theatrical Stage Show
Some major segments of the event will include live action with technical effects and a fully designed laser and light show which would be well synchronized with music and video.

An Interactive Video Game
A handful of lucky audience members will be selected to come up on stage and actually play a video game while the orchestra plays interactively with them.

Pre-Show Festival
A special pre-show festival which features meetings with top composers and game designers in select cities as well as a costume event prior to the show would also be held.
