Volunteer Jam is the most famous and popular albums ever that came in the history of music as it stirred the world with its soulful tunes and murmuring words. Volunteer Jam is the album released in 1999 by "Charlie Daniels". This album was such a success that he was actually forced to launch the second album with the same name and he titled it as Volunteer Jam Volume Two. And history repeated itself too as this album was also a massive hit and created history. After the release of this album there was no looking back as Charlie Daniels continued to climb the ladder of success and this can be measured with the fact that all his concerts were completely sold out and tickets to his concerts were hard to fetch. Now talking about Charlie Daniels he was born with the name of Charles Edward Daniels on 28th October 1936 in Wilmington, North Carolina. He is not only an American country music and Southern rocker but also a jazz singer, fiddler, and guitarist. In short we can say that he is a master of various musical themes and instruments.
Since his childhood he was inclined to music and began writing and performing in the 1950s. Despite being doing excessive hard work still luck never actually favoured him. In 1964, Daniels sold a song "It Hurts Me" to Elvis Presley and at that time only he worked as a session musician, including playing on three Bob Dylan albums during 1969 and 1970. But the dawn of 1970 brought the smile on his face as he released his first solo album, titled "Charlie Daniels". But the album never gathered raving reviews. Still he never lost hope and he released his second album "Honey in the Rock" in 1972 which climbed the all music charts. It was the track "Uneasy Rider" which became the anthem of the nation and later climbed to 9th spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Till now his concerts were hounded by his fans and tickets to it were hard to fetch. And this can be evidential from the fact that in 1974 he organized the first in a series of Volunteer Jam concerts based in or around Nashville, Tennessee, which were completely sold out. Now he was regarded as one of the stalwarts ever in the history of the music. His success was later highlighted when in 1979 he won the Grammy Award for Best Country Vocal Performance for "The Devil Went Down to Georgia".
And this tradition is still continuing as he periodically holds concerts titled as "Volunteer Jam". In case Charlie Daniels proposes to hold a concert in your city, then simply book your tickets for the memorable evening where music will take you on ride to heaven.
