I need a guitarist for upcoming gigs this summer. The music is classic/hard rock. Think Motley Crue, Aerosmith, Dokken, Kiss, Velvet Revolver, etc.

There is pay involved (enough for gas, strings, food, and miscellaneous expenses, but don't expect enough to pay your rent) and tons of opportunities. I'm signed, so any out of town gigs will be taken care of i.e. room and board, travel, food, etc. The pay and opportunities will get better once I see how you work. Simple as that.

I do some originals, and some covers. Stuff like Poison, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Van Halen, etc.

I don't expect a lifetime commitment, or quiting your day job or school or whatever. Just be at the gigs on time. I don't care what you do in your spare time.

I'm looking for guys between 18-30, preferrably between 21-28. It's not me that really sweats the age, it's my label. And you must have a rock and roll image. You don't need to look like a model or anything (meaning I don't care how attractive you are or are not-I don't care for your looks), but you can't go onstage with me looking like the pizza delivery boy or a librarian. Sorry, that just doesn't work in this genre. The best way I can put it is, if you don't look like a CC Deville or Slash or Nikki Sixx when you hit the stage, the gig ain't for you.

I also don't care if you have transportation or not, pro gear, or whatever. As long as you can get to the gigs and the few practice sessions we before gigs, i'm happy. As long as your instrument can hold a tune, and can maintain it during a concert, I could care less what brand it is, or how much it cost. Plus the backline and gear is supplied anyway on most gigs.
