Celine Dion the music diva that we know today was born on March 30, 1968. She hails from a catholic family in the small town of Charlemagne, Qubec. She was born with a golden voice that enveloped anyone who ever heard her.

Her journey on the road to success began at an early age of five when her mother recognised and promoted her talent. Celine had a clear goal of making it big in the music arena. Her conviction, dedication and her hard work bore fruit when at the tender age of thirteen she released her first record in French "La Voix du bon Dieu". It made her a celebrity in Quebec. This was a good motivational boost to her singing career. She never looked back and scaled great heights to reach the epitome of her career. Her hard work paid off very well and she won many coveted awards.

After receiving accolade's in French music she ventured on to English music arena to give new dimensions to her ever blossoming career. She produced her first English album, Unison in 1990 and created history with her chart buster "Where Does My Heart Beat Now". Numerous hit singles followed and Celine's popularity kept on growing in leaps and bounds. Celine did not restrict her abilities to singing but also showcased her talent as a fantastic songwriter when she co-wrote the lyrics of "Dont Save It All for Christmas" in 1998 for the Christmas album.

Celine enjoyed the limelight and the glamour that came to her as a part and parcel to her singing career. After being in the limelight for such a long time she announced her marriage to her manager Ren`e Ang`elil in 1993 and was married to him in 1994. She was so in love with Renee that she dedicated a song to him in her third English album "The Colour of My Love".
She achieved a personal high when she gave birth to her son, Ren`e-Charles Ang`elil in January 2001. Celine always led a very meticulous life and she always had her priorities right. She took a break of two years from her singing career to look after her new born bundle of joy and also to prepare for her biggest live show to date. Finally in 2002 she returned to the music world with her chart buster A new day has come.Celine also rendered her voice for many songs for the movies. She sang hit singles like My heart will go on for Titanic, "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" on the soundtrack to Mona Lisa Smile, song for Disney's beauty and the Beast and many more chart busters.
