In 2003 season approximately 2.45 million tickets were sold for eighty one home games.
This ground provides awesome baseball facilities and this is only one venue where you see natural grass turf and a sunroof made over the upper deck. The Orioles have achieved a lot since their debut in MLB. Their accomplishments included three World Series championships in 1966, 1970, and 1983. Baltimore Orioles performed extremely well in 2005 MLB season. Well, this season they are ready to take off with some stunning performances. This powerful team finished last season with .457 win average. With this win they earned a place at the middle of the grand American League East. Their fans must be hoping to see some major improvements in the Baltimore's game this season. The club has already added pitcher Kris Benson and catcher Ramon Hernandez. In 2005, many notable players played for the team like Sammy Sosa, Rafael Palmeiro, Javy Lopez and Miguel Tejada.
In 2004, Orioles improved greatly as they had seventy eight wins and eighty four losses. Then, they went on to finish third in the popular American League East. With this record they finished with twenty three games behind the New York Yankees and twenty games behind the Boston Red Sox. This season they will start off with Coach Sam Perlozzo. This is Sam's tenth season on the Oriole's coaching unit. Sam had a consistent nine year professional playing career. He played as an infielder. For some time he also played at the major-league level. Baltimore Orioles have some very good pitchers like, Erik Bedard, Bruce Chen, Chris Ray, and Todd Williams-X. Clubs main catchers are Ramon Hernandez and Javy Lopez. Dave Cash is club's 1st base coach followed up by hitting coach - Terry Crowley, Bench coach - Lee Elia, and Leo Mazzone - Pitching coach.
