Well, the very first game at the popular Tropicana Field was a complete sellout, with 45, 369 tickets sold.
They had a talented line up but they had to qualify for the postseason since club's inception. They have a young history. They couldn't give something to cheer about in the 2005 MLB season but this time they are ready to move on with some strong points. Last season they finished with .414 win average and placed them at the hated bottom of the American League East. This time they have different plans with their new manager, Joe Maddon. They will kick start their season by adding some talented players in their so called final line up. Well Trever Millers's departure has really casued a set back for the team. Team has left with Jon Switzer as the only left-hander. Jesus Colome can contribute this time. Last season, he couldn't play because of shoulder injury.
