It's time to take aim for some of the best basketball action on the planet with tickets to see the Milwaukee Bucks live in action! This team has always been one for surprises, especially when it comes to pulling off amazing wins and spirited plays. The Bucks have always been a strong contending team to deal with and no wonder- the Bucks have a recipe for great basketball and winning like few other teams.
The Milwaukee Bucks hit the NBA scene way back in 1968 and played their first game on home turf against the Chicago Bulls. A few years later in 1971, the Bucks would win the NBA championship in style, chalking up a record for winning the championship faster than any other expansion team. The next year the Bucks cleanly snapped the Lakers 33 game winning streak, shaking the confidence of one of the strongest teams in the NBA. But that wasn't all- in 1973, the Bucks would clock in their third consecutive season of 60 wins- another NBA first.
The Bucks were a smoking hot team that just couldn't be touched and great things loomed large in the future. However, in a surprise move, one of the Bucks' best players, the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was traded to the Lakers for a handful of other players. This move would ultimately prove to be a sound one, as these new players helped form a solid core for the team. The Bucks continued to play hard and fast basketball, snagging the Midwestern Division Title in 1980 and six more division titles for the next eleven years. More trades occurred through this time and more key players were added to the Bucks roster.
On the twenty-fifth anniversary of the team, the Bucks made a few changes to their uniforms, re-designing the existing buck that had a happy, cartoon feel to it into a much more impressive logo. By the '94-'85 season, the Buck were still sizzling and were riding high on a brand new offensive tactic led by some notable power forwards. The Bucks were now one of the elite teams of the NBA and in 2001, the team won the Central Division title.
However things moved downhill soon after- the addition of a new player Anthony Mason threw the chemistry of the team off and the Bucks saw their seeded ranking drop dramatically. Tensions grew within the team which resulted in a number of firings and trades. Things hit a new low in the '04-'05 season but luckily, the team was able to pull itself back up in 2006, chalking up another record for themselves as having shot the most number of three-pointer shots in one quarter.
