The costal Carolina University is generally well known for conducting sport events and primarily for basketball tournaments. It is popularly known as CCU is a state supported and independent university in South Carolina, located west of Myrtle Beach, the main campus of the university is made up of about 41 buildings, built up on an area of 272 acres. This chanticleer is a derivative from the University of South Carolina's character called Gamecocks. The university's athletic program has the colors of teal and bronze.
