The Orlando Predators are an Arena Football Team based in Orlando, Florida. The team was established in 1991. They presently compete in the Southern Division of National Conference. Annually among the list of league-leaders, the Predators have succeeded to qualify for the playoffs for 15 consecutive years and have recorded 15 consecutive winning seasons. The current 2006 season has marked the longest active streak in the AFL. Currently the team is under the guidance of coach Jay Gruden who is the younger brother of a prominent National Football League coach Jon Gruden. Jay Gruden is a former starting quaterback. He has the career record of 64-3 also includes 9-4 in the playoffs. His career chat includes fifteen seasons in Arena Football League, fifteen seasons in the playoffs, seven trips to the ArenaBowl, six championship rings, an average of 10.8 wins. Both as a head coach and defensive coordinator, Jay Gruden's name goes synonymous with the success in the Arena Football League. He owns the prestige of being the first quarterback in the AFL Hall of Fame. After leading the Orlando towards the win at ArenaBowl in 1998 and 2000, Gruden made an attempt to come back as a player, but finally decided to coach.

The team defeated the San Antonio Force by 50-0, on June 13, 1992. till present date it records to be the only shutout in Arena League history. The following week , June 19, 1992, the Predators faced Detroit Drive. Down with 42-32 minutes to go, Barry Wagner caught the touchdown. The Predators recorded the win by 50-49. Altogether team had marked seven possessions in the final 46 seconds of the game.
The teams present mascot is a monster-like human named Klaw who resembles more to the alien Yautja from the Predator films, but with different coloring.
