The San Diego State University Aztecs football team is affiliated with the athletics program of San Diego State University. Its colors are scarlet and black and its mascot is an Aztec warrior known as Monty- Montezuma. The team plays in the Qualcomm Stadium, often referred to as The Q. The stadium was originally called the Jack Murphy Stadium.
Perhaps one of the best things that Aztec football is known for is the number of professional NFL stars they have produced. The list of recent Aztec players includes names like Isaac Curtis, Marshall Faulk and Brian Snipe.
