Enrique Bunbury's original name is Enrique Ortíz de Landazury Yzarduy. He was born on 11th August 1967 in Spain. He took the nick name Bunbury from an Oscar Wilde novel. After joining the band Héroes del Silencio he became a very famous artist in rock song genre of Latin. In 1999 he released an album called Pequeño". The album presented a very different kind of work as compared to his previous works.
Héroes del Silencio band was formed by Enrique Bunbury, bassist Joaquin Cardiel, Pedro Andreu on drums, Juan Valdivia on guitar, and Alan Boguslavsky. . Héroes del Silencio which means heroes of silence was formed during the middle of 1980's. The band very quickly became famous on the among the local crowd. One of their fan Gustavo Montesano a member of Ole Ole helped the band to win a contract with EMI. In 1987 they released their first EP called 'Héroe de Leyenda'. Lucha Rock was released in 2004 by him which had 12 tracks. The numbers in the album were El Extranjero, Lady Blue, Sacame De Aqui, El Bosque De Palo, Dos Dias En La Vida, La Flaca, Alicia (Expulsada Al Pais De Las Maravillas), Agua, Grita, Depende, Infinito and Planeta-Sur.
2005 saw the release of Bunbury Freak Show . The album had 15 songs Otto E Mezzo, Lo Que Queda Por Vivir, Salmoe, Fantasia, Y Al Final, Anidando Liendres, Lady Blue, Sacame De Aqui, Gang-Bang, Longui No. 13, Que No Sepa Tu Mano Izquierda Lo Que Hace La Derecha, Los Restos Del Naufracio La Senorita Hermafrodita and L'Amour.
Enrique Bunburyin 2006 worked on an album with Nacho Vegas and is expected to released in September.
