" All's well that ends well" is a hugely popular and world wide acclaimed play. This incredible play deals with the life of Helena, a smart maid who cures the suffering King of France of a dreadful disease; as the excellent play progresses there has been well crafted and superb dramatic turns. The play takes an amazing and huge turn when smart Helena asks for good looking Lord Bertram's rich and powerful hand in marriage. Then comes the most incredible turning point of the play as It was not a so called common proposal but Bertram was forced and deeply indebted to her so he has to oblige with the request in order to satisfy many others and specially King; but internally he feels the pangs of this treacherous situation as he doesn't want to marry her and to see her as his wife. Then he plans to avoid this forced upon marriage issue, and eventually he flees to Italy to avoid this marriage issue by engaging himself in the battle because, as if he dies he would definitely get rid of this tricky woman and his death will receive all the accolades and glory. Eventually Helena heard about this manipulation, and it was heartbreaking and intolerable news for her. She feels greatly shaken and tremendously hurt then she decides to avoid the pricking pangs of her burning desire and she sets out on a holy pilgrimage.
Then comes the other hugely dramatic moment, eventually she meets the Diana. Diana is very dear to Bertram and she is Bertram's new and young mistress. Both women shared their experiences. After listening to her miserable story, Diana agrees to help each her and then both manipulate a plan. And Diana readily agrees to help Diana. According to their preplan, eventually, one night Helena sleeps with Bertram, while Bertram unknowingly sleeps with Helena. This manipulated and very well crafted act really secures Helena?s desperate needed bond to Bertram. At last Bertram realizes his folly and regrets his mistake and happily accepts Helena and their future child.
The play has some very interesting characters and these characters are very well used by the greatest dramatist to adapt with the optimum flow of the play. Like any other Shakespeare play this play deals with the world of fun, intrigues, humor, and manipulations. The superb cast of the play includes: Dan McCleary (Bertram), Elizabeth Aspenlieder (Helena), Jonathan Croy (Parolles); with other fine actors Karen Torbjornsen, John Thompson, John Beale, and Christine Adaire. Beautiful and well adapted sets are designed by Robin Hynek. Superb and colored costumes are very well designed by Tracy Hinman-Sigrist. Light and sound effects are contributed by Stephen Ball and Mark Huang.
