"Almost Maine" deals with a humorous plot that is based on the inhabitants of a reasonably small northern town. An incredible journey through the minds of these inhabitants; they are frequently fall in love and really enjoy this mirthful state of mind but after some time they feel trapped and caught in the web of obligations; in order to get rid of this they make some silly moves. It all happens with an alarming rate. A well crafted humorous joyride that deals with the confused lovebirds with nothing to lose. The weak and innocent hearts feel the unknown pangs of love, broken with some rib tickling humor and dramatic situations and at last all the broken hearts are mended in this cold midwinter night's dream.

The show was premiered in 2004. Since its premier, show has been gaining many encouraging reviews from the many well known critics and it is also rated as one of the great and sensational theatre productions by the reputed "New American National Theater" in 2004. The show deals with a simple romantic comedy that is very well directed by Gabriel. Gabriel John is a very reputed theater personality. This incredible show beautifully presents the unusual situations to make people amuse and laugh. A well described folly of human character with so much to acquire.

A simple way of presenting the state of minds of common characters that falls in love without thinking about the consequences and then pays the huge price. Well planned scenes are very well adapted with the flow of the play. Unusual comic situations give rise to some speculations; but well crafted introspective phases keep the audiences think with a regular dose of laugh. The unusual and amusing acts are very well woven to make the audiences laugh heartily.

This is a new comedy by John Cariani who has already starred in "Fiddler on the Roof." Cariani has earned a nomination in the prestigious Tony Award for his breathtaking performance as Motel in Fiddle and he has also played Speed in the famous show "Two Gentleman of Verona." This incredible show is directed by well known director Gabriel. The director of the show ?Barre? has already directed many famous off-Broadway musicals like: John & Jen, The Wild Party, and famous Summer of '42, as well as the hugely popular national touring production of Cinderella. The show will star Justin Hagan, Todd Cerveris, Finnerty Steeves, and Miriam Shor.

The superb creative team of this incredible show includes Pamela Scofield as a Costume designer, James Youmans as set designer, Jeff Croter as lighting director, Brian Ronan as sound designer and Julian Fleisher contributed the original score. Cariani has very well shown his great comic wit with more emotional scenes.
