The plot revolves around Alfred, who happens to be a young scientist and the assistant of renowned professor Abronsisus who goes on an adventurous expedition to Transylvania. The quirky professor has singularly made it his life's work and aim to prove the suspected existence of vampires on earth and to set mankind free forever from their evil crutches. During the journey to find Count von Krolock(suspected Vampire) they finally are able to reach a very lonely country village and then in that village they stumble upon an inn. In that village the farmers sing the praises of garlic, which strikes the mind of the Professor Abronsius and make him suspect that they been able to reach their destination. Alfred incidentally falls in deep love with the mesmerizing Sarah, the innkeeper's gorgeous daughter. While both Sarah and Alfred are dreaming separately about each other, a very threatening shadow happens to fall over the inn. The evil Count von Krolock absolutely makes it clear, that he has set his devil's eye on Sarah.

During the course of the next day Professor Abronsius desires to find out information about what the landlord and the god fearing landlady know about the evil vampires. His continuous investigation always meets with silence. There is an act where Sarah is out innocently picking mushrooms when a bunch of very cool looking young vampires suddenly appears out of the surrounding mist, dancing with boisterous abandon. Sarah is absolutely entranced as a beautiful coffin rises simply from under the ground which contains the dashing and extremely good looking Count Von Krolock. The mesmerizing Count melodically sings to Sarah in a very seductive voice and promises to make her Queen of the Vampires. This is very difficult for Sarah as she is torn between Alfred and the Count, and decides to run off to Krolock's castle. She is then pursued by Alfred and Abronsius.

Watching the play is an experience in itself. There are rapturous love duets, close eerie encounters, unbridled happy dancing, and funny comedy. Apart from all these there are the bats and an eccentric madman named Boris. The climactic and brilliant vampire dance seemingly erupts as the moon slowly starts to eclipse and the ending is splendid. S do get your tickets early and enjoy the delightful musical.
