This amazing show is about an unauthorized parody of a famous comic strip. This humorous comedy takes the audience through the minds of unusual characters, an abused pianist, drunken cheerleaders, a pyromaniac ex-girlfriend, a homophobic quarterback, a burnt-out Buddhist and a famous drama queen sister. The show showcases the modern tale of teenage angst. The famous show deals with the confused peanuts gang and the hilarious incidents follow with Snoopy's death. Snoopy is a part of this confused gang. This unusual confused gang tries their best to understand the dark and gloomy meaning of life yet they are cheating themselves and suffering from the severe identity crisis. The incredible character CB tries to save the situation with his Herculean efforts and during this task the audiences laugh heartily.
The show is full of humorous incidents; the characters are woven dexterously with some unique features like: CB has a dark yellow shirt with an unusual squiggly line; he has been writing a letter to his favorite pen pal. The famous "My Dog died" is used for his pet beagle that is a stark indication that this royal cast is aiming for dark comedy. CB's unusual sister is a superb Goth version of Sally. Van is the sizzling renamed Linus who has been sporting the dreadlocks of a Rastafarian; Van is the famous resident pothead. Matt is a sex-obsessed homophobe. Famous pianist Schroeder has already become Beethoven, who has grown up to be a well known gay nerd. Tricia is the superb Valley Girl version of famous "Peppermint Patty;" and very well recognized by her freckles. Tricia's best friend is Marcy. The last but not the least character is Van's sister; a dreadful pyromaniac currently occupying a well place padded cell in a so called mental hospital.
The show has been directed by Trip Cullman and very well written by Bert V. Royal. Somerhalder, has already appeared as Boone. He has already appeared in the famous films "Pulse" and "Rules of Attraction." He has also peformed in famous TV shows like: "Young Americans," "Small Ville," "Now and Again," and "CSI:Miami." The talented design team for this hilarious show is Jenny Mannis (costumes), (David Korins (scenic), Brian MacDevitt (lighting), and Darron L. West (sound).
The actors are termed as "hot and hip young" by the many critics. The other characters are describes as Nobbs as fun lover stoner, Matt as crotch-grabbing guy, Graynor as enough to present as Marcy, Tricia as distinctive laugh, Dan as Miami's gay housemate. The superb show is well described as sexy, hilarious and full of introspection. Every member of this unusual cast has given a top-notch performance with some particular special performances from Marshall-Green's tormented Beethoven. The superb play moves from scene to scene, from a hugely colorful house to an oppressive and sterile classroom to the dry padded walls of the loony bin. The show provides every chance to make someone laugh with some superb well written dialogues. This laughter ride has been gaining many encouraging reviews since its premier with some hilarious moments to remember.
