The Wiggles is an Australian band who have specialized in performing and creating children's music. The band has earned lot of international acclaim for their marvelous and entertaining videos, programs and albums for children. They have already toured countries like New Zealand, USA and United Kingdom.

The Wiggles group constitutes of four members are Anthony Field, Jeff Patt, Murray Cook and Greg Page. They perform in shirts or skivvy of four different colors and have their fixed colors like blue for Anthony, purple for Jeff, yellow for Greg and red for Murray. All the characters perform their particular and recurring acts like magic tricks by Greg, Jeff is always sleepy, Anthony is shown hungry and always eat while Murray is obsessive with guitar.

Apart from the four Wiggles there are some particular characters who regularly appear in videos, songs and programs. The Wiggles have four main friends characters by the name of Captain Feathersword, Henry, Wags and finally Dorothy. All the characters portray four different animals like Henry is an Octopus, Dorothy is a horticulturist dinosaur, Wags is shown as a dog and Captain Feathersword, a friendly pirate. The character of Captain Feathersword is always played by an Australian actor Paul Paddick, while the other three characters are performed by other costume actors. The character of Dorothy has helped the Wiggles in finding the interest of children in dinosaurs.

Dorothy is a huge dinosaur in green color with yellow spots. Her birthday is on Nov 3 and is 5 Dinosaur years old. Dorothy is shown as a very friendly, kind dinosaur with a golden heart. Her other qualities include her love for dance and is comfortable performing line, Scottish, ballet and Irish dancing.

Henry is a purple color octopus with a jolly personality. His home is under the sea and leads the Underwater Big Band. Wags is a furry dog, brown in color who cannot talk. His favorite pastimes are digging is his garden and disturbs Wiggles if he feels hungry. Captain Feathersword is known as a friendly pirate and celebrates his birthday on February 4.

Since the Wiggles cannot visit their innumerable fans but they do organize shows by the name of The Dorothy the Dinosaur Show, featuring all their best friends. Its a musical show hosted by two comperes. They sing favorite Wiggles song with help of all four friends, Captain Feathersword,
