A superb Modern Musical Love Story; very well set in NYC, this superb love story follows Austin Bennet; who is a young greeting card writer and whose life is dramatically turned upside down when he astonishingly finds his long-term beloved girlfriend in bed with another man. Now he is dramatically forced back out into the most treacherous New York dating scene; in this awful time, Austin suddenly meets Marcy Fitzwilliam, who is a creative flighty photographer and whose spontaneity is tremendously matched only by her superb ability to drive him insane. Now, they are consistently being misguided by Austin's cruel brother Jeff and Marcy's so called best friend Diana Bingley.
In this gripping saga of love together the two desperate lovers explore the 'rules' and fervent nuances of dating in the very big city and most importantly, they really find one thing and that is how to love someone, not in spite of their huge differences, but because of them. The play is better described as modern day telling of hugely popular Pride and Prejudice with the targeted genders reversed. The story incredibly begins when Austin Bennet, a young and dynamic greeting card writer is fervently, preparing for a so called special date with his long term and
beloved girlfriend Catherine in New York. But he really got lost his pulse when he finds Catherine in bed with another man. Now, heart broken, and Dejected, Austin determines to take a stand and move up in life with no more Catherine involvement. After this Austin went through many rough phases of his life and eventually he found Marcy and then starts the second tumults phase of his life. Same situations do not come this time but he feels the treacherous pain of loneliness and at last he found his real love. This finally leads to the dramatic ensemble in the end.
