"Jacques Brel Is Alive And Well And Living In Paris," is considered as a classic musical that is brings revived at the The Zipper Theater. Although the musical is produced by Dan Whitten and Tiger Theatricals, its latest production has been directed by Gordon Greenberg. The music director for play is Eric Svejcar and the choreography has been done by Mark Dendy. The previews for the show starts on March 5th and is set to premiere on March 27th 2006.

Director Gordon Greenberg has gathered some of the marvelous cast that comprise of Robert Cuccioli, Natascia Diaz, Rodney Hicks and Gay Marshall. Further more, the production team consists of set designer Rob Bissinger, Lighting designer Jeff Croiter, Costume designer Mattie Ulrich, sound designer Peter Fitzgerald and production stage manager Sara Jaramillo. "Jacques Brel Is Alive And Well And Living In Paris" showcases all the elements of classic and haunting compositions put forward by Jacques Brel. The show that has thrilled the audiences for nearly four decades now, tells about the extraodinary talent of its writers who have come out with some of the astonishing musical compositions. This particular show was debuted in 1968 at The Village Gate in Greenwich City and performed across the world for more than four years.

Greenberg has put all his efforts to come out with a recreational magic of the original and has also added some of the fresh elements to the play. Greenberg in his statement concludes that, "We have reordered the songs and played with some of the arrangements to create what will hopefully be an emotionally satisfying through-line and a genuinely European aesthetic that matches the soulfulness of Brel's music."
