Over the years it has been a classic children's book, a musical play, a movie for the children and now a play again. The original Puss in Boots book was written by Charles Perrault, it was a goodnight book for most of the kids for many years altogether. As of now going by the recent increase in the number of younger generation people visiting theaters to watch plays the idea to convert a classical children's book into a play is an excellent and smart move. The play is bound to have a good response and tickets sales are reflecting the trend.

Not only is this play meant to be a visual dramatization of the book, it has been further made appealing by the addition of musical numbers appreciated by both children and their parents. The show has everything the doctor ordered for; fun, music and a decent moral!

Its script is funny and clever; its music is a delight to hear. All in all the show keeps the audience happily engrossed for every minute of its 90 minutes of running time. The show is hilarious throughout. The show is meant to be seen by one and all and to be preserved for the generations to come.

The story of the play as we all know revolves around a cat that is smart and intelligent enough to take his master out of misery into making him the king's son in law. The exceptional level of intelligence displayed by the seemingly simple cat brings out the moral that it's not about size or species, at the right time a simple animal like a cat can also help you so never underestimate anyone. The second moral is that nothing is impossible in this world, if you have the determination and the will you can do anything.

The play runs in two acts with total time divided equally between the two acts. Although the major cast consists of five people i.e. the cat, the miller's son, the king and his daughter, the ogre, it can be expanded to accommodate as many people as the stage can hold. The colorful costumes and the beautifully crafted sets add to the appeal of the play. The music is also praise worthy and leaves a mark on you. The direction is very effective and praiseworthy and the performers have a decent job too.

A wonderfully and fantastically presented version of the popular story we have all grown up with. The play is brilliantly formulated and has enough action for every member of the family. All in all a must watch for everybody. So before the tickets are all gone like the misery of miller's son do book yours now online!
